The Wall Street Journal’s Eli Lake writes that in a new paper, the company is trying to unlock a key to your home.
The key would unlock the doors and windows, allowing you to leave the house and enter it as normal.
The company has yet to release details about the product, but Lake writes it’s a good example of how the company sees homes as a “potentially valuable” asset.
Lake adds that while it’s unclear what exactly the product will unlock, the idea of locking down the interior with a padlock is pretty intriguing.
Lake writes: “As you might expect, this is all the more interesting because we’ve never seen a product like this in a home before.”
The company will initially offer an “electronic lock” that’s designed to prevent access from your computer or phone.
Lake says the padlock would be similar to the ones you’d use to unlock your door or window, but with a little more complexity.
In addition to the padlocks, the product would include an electronic door lock that would prevent your door from being opened, a digital lock that will lock down a specific door or space, and an electronic lock that could lock out an entire hallway.
Lake notes that the company will be offering a range of different options for the product.
Lake writes that the technology behind the product is fairly basic.
He writes that a key would be installed into the interior of the home and that the key would need to be physically embedded into the home to lock it.
The padlock product will be available in the US for $39.95 and in Canada for $49.95.
Lake also notes that while there are already a number of lock products available for homeowners, the padlocked home product seems to be the first one to go mainstream.
He says that a lot of people are looking for locks that will be physically “secure,” but that padlocks are a lot more practical for the average person.
Lake adds that the pad locked home concept has been around for a while, but this product seems like a much better fit for the market.
He notes that “for many people, their main concern with home security is the cost.”
Lake says the company has also received a number in-kind donations from businesses.
For example, the owner of the locksmith service that the product was designed to work with donated $2,000 worth of hardware to the company.
Lake also writes that this could be a great way to raise money for the company and for the community.
Lake writes: While we’re still in the process of testing the product and are unsure if it will work with a number or a specific home, we know that it is an interesting concept and that people are curious about it.
We are really excited to be working with a company like this to help address the demand for this technology.
