Unlocking a door on your iPhone 6S with a keypad is easy if you know what you’re doing.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through the process of unlocking the door using an iPhone’s front-facing camera, and we’ll also show you how to get your finger on the back of the phone to open it.
How to unlock the door with a camera on iPhone 6 using a lock code This process will work for the iPhone 6 Plus and 6S Plus if you have a lock screen lock code, but we’re going to use the iPhone’s lock screen camera to unlock this door using a code that requires your fingerprint.
To unlock this phone, you’ll need to download the iOS 9 Camera app on your phone and then go to Settings > Security.
The camera icon will appear on the top left hand corner of the screen.
Select the Lock screen lock icon and then tap it.
The lock screen will lock for a few seconds and then unlock.

The front camera will be in the centre of the device and you’ll see a lock icon next to it.

You can also swipe left to access a few options like your contacts and settings.
Once you’re done with your home screens, you can swipe up to access your settings.
If you’re looking for a more powerful method to unlock an iPhone, the lock codes for the Apple Watch and the Samsung Gear S3 also work, but the front and rear cameras can’t be used in this way.
If the iPhone has a lock, you won’t be able use it to unlock other devices.
To unlock the front of an iPhone using a camera: 1.
Unlock the door by pressing the back button and holding down the button for at least five seconds.
Tap the home button once.

2- If you’re using a rear camera on your lockscreen camera, it’s important to tap the unlock icon on the device before you use the rear facing camera for unlocking.
3- If the camera is not working properly, try pressing the home key while holding down a button.
If it’s working properly but not unlocking, then try holding down Home or Volume down buttons for a moment.
4- If your camera is locked but you don.t want to unlock and don’t know what’s going on, hold the Home or volume down buttons while tapping the lock button on the phone until the screen turns green.
If all of that doesn’t work, you may need to unlock with the rear or front cameras.
5- If all is well, press and then release the home or volume buttons to unlock using the front cameras, then press and unlock the device with the back camera.
6- If using the iPhone for a longer period of time, you might need to turn the camera off and then on again.
7- If an app is causing your phone to crash, turn off the camera and then turn it back on. 8- If any of the following steps don’t work correctly, try the same thing again.
For example, try unlocking the phone using the camera on the iPad with the Home key, then pressing and releasing the Home and Volume buttons, then releasing the lock.
