The iOS 9 beta for Apple’s mobile operating system has now been available in the United States, UK, and Australia, as reported by AppleInsider.
The update is a minor update that is available to download in the following territories:US: iOS 9 is available in U.S. and UK for free.
It will automatically download when you connect to iCloud, or when you open the Settings app.
It also contains an update to the lockscreen, but that’s not all: Apple is also updating the apps lock and schlage features in iOS 9, as well as updating the lockout kit to be compatible with iOS 9 lockscreen widgets.
The updated iOS 9 firmware, however, does not contain any other new features.
The update is available for download in Australia, UK (except the Northern Territory), New Zealand, South Africa, and Ireland.iOS 9 for iOS devices comes with a new Siri Shortcuts feature, which will let you quickly launch Siri on a Siri-enabled device.
Apple is calling this Siri Shortcut feature “Apple Pay-only,” but it’s likely to work with any iOS device with a PayPay app installed.
You can also use the Siri Shortcodes feature to launch Siri directly on the lockscreens of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch.
